Sarah Johnson appointed to board of National Treatment Purchase Fund
Solicitor Sarah Johnson has been appointed to the board of the National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF).
The NTPF works with public hospitals to fund treatment for suitable patients who have spent the longest time on waiting lists.
Ms Johnson is a former partner at Philip Lee where she specialised in public procurement, advising public bodies on ensuring probity and value for money in the procurement of services, and on the management and mitigation of risk.
As a lawyer, she has also advised various bodies providing health services in Ireland on their statutory functions and related legal and regulatory issues.
Ms Johnson is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and completed a Master’s in European Community Law in the College of Europe, Bruges before training as a solicitor. She also holds a Diploma in Construction Law and Management from TCD and a Diploma in Mediation from the Law Society.
Her appointment to the NTPF runs from 3 June 2021 to 2 June 2024.
