Sherwin O’Riordan Solicitors appoints senior associate and solicitor

Sherwin O’Riordan Solicitors has announced the appointment of Deirdre Ardagh as a senior associate and Austin Gill as a solicitor.
A former barrister, Ms Ardagh joins the firm’s corporate and commercial department having previously worked as both an economist and a public policy professional in a number of government agencies.
She also has extensive experience in regulatory and administrative law, working in the media, technology and telecoms sectors, and is a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
Mr Gill has been appointed solicitor in the firm’s litigation and insolvency department, advising clients across a wide spectrum of insolvency and litigation matters in a range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and corporate recovery law.
He also advises international lending institutions, property developers, private equity companies on a wide variety of transactions involving restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency.
Commenting on the appointments, managing partner James Sherwin said: “We are delighted to welcome both Deirdre and Austin to the firm. Both of them bring great energy and expertise to the teams and their combined experience in their areas are a significant addition to our practice.”
The appointments follow the firm’s recent appointment of Elaine McNally as a litigation partner, which Mr Sherwin said also forms “part of our ongoing expansion plan as we continue to secure valued new clients in a variety of sectors and businesses”.
Sherwin O’Riordan, established in 2002, focuses on advising growing SMEs on commercial and business law, employment, commercial litigation and dispute resolution and commercial property.
