Our story

Isabella Hughes, while working in a probate-focused solicitor’s office, saw firsthand the frustrations that both solicitors and executors experience with the probate process. She was deeply immersed in the daily complexities of case management, encountering bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and a general lack of user-friendly tools tailored for probate.

Isabella met Oisin Dolphin, a seasoned software engineer who, as the executor of his father’s estate, experienced firsthand the challenges of probate. Together, they envisioned a streamlined, accessible solution. Later, John Noonan, a legal tech product expert from Clio, joined the team, bringing valuable expertise. Over the past months, they’ve collaborated with solicitors and executors to design Simple Probate, tailored to simplify the process and improve communication.
