Taylor Wessing hires Ryan Ferry as disputes and investigations partner
International law firm Taylor Wessing has appointed experienced litigator Ryan Ferry as a partner in the firm’s Dublin office.
Mr Ferry will join the firm from Arthur Cox later this month and serve as disputes and investigations lead for Ireland, where Taylor Wessing has had a presence since 2021.
With a broad commercial practice and particular expertise in the technology, life sciences, private wealth and real estate sectors, Mr Ferry brings experience managing complex matters including shareholder disputes, commercial contract disputes, fraud disputes, and in crisis, risk and reputation management.
Adam Griffiths, head of Taylor Wessing Ireland, said: “Ryan’s extensive experience and proven track record in managing complex disputes make him a very valuable addition to our team. His broad commercial practice aligns perfectly with our strategic goal to provide comprehensive support to businesses at all stages of their lifecycle.”
Shane Gleghorn, managing partner, added: “The growth and success of our Irish office is testament to our commitment to invest in talent that supports our clients’ evolving needs. We are thrilled to welcome Ryan aboard and look forward to further expansion of our disputes resolution capabilities.”
Taylor Wessing’s Dublin office now has corporate, banking and finance, real estate, technology, IP and data capabilities, supporting clients in a range of sectors, including technology, life science and healthcare, real estate and private wealth.
Mr Ferry’s appointment follows the recruitment last year of banking and finance lead Libby Garvey and real estate lead Órlaith Molloy, and the firm’s recent move to expanded premises at Fitzwilliam Square.
