Taylor Wessing relocates to new Dublin HQ
Taylor Wessing Ireland has moved to new offices in Dublin’s Fitzwilliam Square, just three years after first opening its doors.
The global law firm, which last year reported revenues of more than €500 million for the first time, said its new Irish base reflects its unique position at the intersection of sectors as diverse as private wealth, real estate, technology and life sciences.
The firm has built a broad offering including corporate, banking, real estate, technology, IP, data privacy, disputes, and tax, and says it plans to expand further in areas such as IP disputes and employment.
Taylor Wessing intends for its headcount in Ireland to double over the next 24 months.
Adam Griffiths, partner and head of Taylor Wessing Ireland, said: “Taylor Wessing Ireland launched three years ago and we have been consistently encouraged by the growing demand from existing and new clients for our services in all practice areas.
“As a result, we have added market-leading senior talent, and our investment in significantly increased office space is a logical consequence of that growth.
“From our new office on Fitzwilliam Square, we are able to leverage the wider Taylor Wessing network to bring local knowledge and global expertise to bear.”
James Farrell, head of content, consumer and business services at IDA Ireland, added: “As Taylor Wessing Ireland opens its new office in Dublin, we are delighted to see this global law firm continue to grow in Ireland.
“Taylor Wessing Ireland established its presence in Ireland in 2021 and has responded to client demand with growth.
“The firm’s commitment to Ireland is a testament to our highly-skilled and educated workforce for professional service organisations looking to expand within Europe.”
