Bar of NI appoints Sinead McIvor as policy and communications manager

Sinead McIvor
The Bar of Northern Ireland has appointed Sinead McIvor as its new policy and communications manager.
Ms McIvor heads up the policy and communications team, which manages the internal and external communication on behalf of the Bar of NI as well as public affairs and stakeholder engagement activities.
She previously worked in communications and public affairs at the Northern Ireland Assembly and, before this, worked in various public and private sector roles.
Ms McIvor said: “I am looking forward to the start of the new legal term and reaffirming the Bar of NI’s position as leaders of legal excellence.
“The legal and justice sector is varied and fast paced. It’s an exciting time to join the Bar of NI as we enter a new century of law in this jurisdiction.
“I look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
