Thirteen legacy inquests to be reviewed on Friday
Northern Ireland’s presiding coroner will conduct a review of 13 legacy-related inquests on Friday as part of the five-year legacy inquest plan.
The purpose of the reviews is to obtain oral updates from the representatives of the families in cases where a coroner has not yet been appointed.
The inquests which will be reviewed are:
- Richard Jameson — 9.30am
- Elizabeth McDonald and John Gerald McGleenan —9:45am
- Gerard Lawlor —10.00am
- Kevin McAlorum —10:15am
- Craig McCausland —10:30am
- Robert Mahood and John Coulter —10:45am
- Robert Moffett —11:00am
- Daniel Rooney —11:15am
- Patrick McVeigh —11:30am
- Gerard Casey —11:45am
- James Sloan, James McCann, Tony Campbell, Ambrose Hardy, Brendan Maguire and John Loughran (the ‘New Lodge Six’) —12:00pm
- James Elliot —12:15pm
- Thomas Burns —12:30pm
