NI: Thomson Reuters to sponsor international advocacy conference
Thomson Reuters has announced it will sponsor the International Advocacy Training Conference in Belfast from 18-19 April 2016.
The International Advocacy Training Council (IATC) and The Bar of Northern Ireland confirmed that Thomson Reuters will be a “diamond sponsor” of the landmark event.
Wong Ka-Chun, honorary secretary of the IATC, said: “Advocacy involves the presentation of well-organized information and materials in a helpful and persuasive manner, and the aim of advocacy training is to enhance the advocates skills.
“Hence, the IATC warmly welcomes the opportunities arising from the IATC Conference in Belfast being sponsored by Thomson Reuters as a market leader in information collection and management across the legal and business worlds.”
David Mulholland, chief executive of The Bar of NI, added: “Thomson Reuters are the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals and services some of the most influential decision makers in the world.
