NI: Three more appointments at Carson McDowell
Belfast-based Carson McDowell has announced the appointment of Clare Heaney, Amy McConnell and Katie McAllister.
It follows the firm’s recent announcement of the appointment of Cathal O’Neill, Andrew Edwards and Peter Lamont in December.
Ms Heaney has joined the firm’s healthcare team, having previously worked as a paralegal for the General Medical Council in Manchester and London. She is also qualified in England and Wales.
Ms McConnell has joined the firm’s real estate team as a solicitor, where she will assist in all aspects of commercial property including acquisitions and disposals, review of commercial leases, and landlord and tenant work. She is also a committee member of the Northern Ireland Commercial Property Lawyers’ Association (NICPLA).
Ms McAllister has joined the firm’s media law team, having previously worked in another Belfast firm, gaining experience in a wide range of practice areas including media law, commercial litigation and judicial review. She is involved in all aspects of media and entertainment law including defamation, privacy, data protection and IP law.
