NI: TLT sees fee income rise 10 per cent to £82m
UK law firm TLT, which has an office in Belfast, has announced a 10 per cent increase in fee income to hit £82 million for the financial year 2017/18.
Activity levels were up across the firm’s transactional, advisory and disputes services in the first full financial year since the launch of TLT’s new strategy to 2020
The firm said the growth was driven by new client wins, panel appointments and increased support for existing clients.
Commenting on the figures, Katharine Kimber, head of TLT in Northern Ireland, said: “We celebrated our sixth birthday in Northern Ireland this year and it’s fantastic to report that the firm continues to grow and attract new people, clients and work.”
Ms Kimber added: “Indeed, in terms of fee income, the firm as a whole has grown by more than 60 per cent in just over five years, which is a real achievement in a competitive market.
“Looking forwards, we see huge potential in the NI market and plan continued investment in talent, expertise and technology.”
In the last year, the firm has made a number of hires in Belfast, including corporate partner Andrew Jennings. The firm also promoted banking & restructuring lawyer Anna Vangrove to partner.
