Tommy O’Donoghue BL joins board of Men’s Aid Ireland
Tommy O’Donoghue BL has joined the board of Men’s Aid Ireland, the only dedicated support service in Ireland for male victims of domestic violence.
Originally from Kerry, Mr O’Donoghue studied at University College Cork and the King’s Inns before calling to the bar in 2011.
He practises as a barrister throughout Ireland in matters of criminal, civil and family law, advising and representing clients in diverse legal proceedings as well as providing voluntary assistance to non-profits with research and advice.
Mr O’Donoghue is one of two new board members alongside organisational psychologist David Keane.
David Foot, chairman of Men’s Aid Ireland, said: “We are delighted to welcome the new members as they take up their roles, we are confident that the individual skill sets and experience they possess will contribute greatly to the important work of Men’s Aid.”
