Top judges to speak at New York launch of Arbitration Ireland
The Chief Justice of Ireland, Mr Justice Frank Clarke, and the High Court’s designated arbitration judge, Mr Justice David Barniville, are set to launch the New York chapter of Arbitration Ireland next month.
The event, designed to highlight the attractiveness of Ireland as a seat for arbitration and international litigation as well as discussing the implications of Brexit, will take place at the Consulate General’s office.
Gavin Woods, partner in the litigation and dispute resolution group at Arthur Cox and president of Arbitration Ireland, will also address the invite-only event.

Arbitration Ireland is an association comprising people actively involved in the practice of international arbitration in Ireland, including barristers and solicitors.
Its mission is to promote awareness of Ireland as a venue and seat for international arbitration and increase the profile of Irish arbitrators and practitioners amongst the international arbitration community.
