Mr Dolan is highly experienced in investment fund law, providing Irish financial services legal advice to Irish and international financial services providers.

He has advised fund promoters on structuring, establishing, listing, and maintaining UCITS investment funds and alternative investment funds in Ireland, with a particular focus on structured UCITS, hedge funds, real estate and venture capital or private equity funds.

He also advises on life settlement funds and actively participates in Irish Fund working groups, including the industry task force on the Investment Limited Partnership (ILP).

Mr Dolan began his career in the US where he worked for the local investment banking subsidiaries of ABN AMRO and Société Générale in Chicago. He later returned to Ireland to help establish Société Générale’s fund depositary business here.

Following a period as a senior executive officer in the Central Bank of Ireland, he joined a top 10 Irish law firm. Most recently, he was a partner in investment funds and asset management and head of the financial services group at another Irish law firm.
