Northern Ireland commercial law firm Tughans has named Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI as its chosen charity partner for 2024.

Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI is the only charity in Northern Ireland to dedicated funding research into the causes and cures of leukaemia, Lymphoma, myeloma, and other related conditions.

The charity’s mission is to improve survival rates and quality of life for all blood cancer patients by supporting clinicians, scientists and students researching these diseases. Their pioneering work has been instrumental in advancing treatments and improving outcomes for patients affected by these diseases.

All funds donated to Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI remain in Northern Ireland and approximately 85 pence in every pound directly funds this vital research.

Fiona Kirkpatrick, private client partner at Tughans, said: “We are delighted to support Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI this year. Their dedication to research and improving patient care aligns with our values and our commitment to making a meaningful contribution to our community. We look forward to working closely with the charity in the months ahead.”

To kick off the partnership, Tanya Mayne from Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI was welcomed to Tughans’ office to talk to the firm’s team about the charity’s mission, ongoing research, the impact of their work and the benefits the funds raised will have on those affected.

Throughout the year, Tughans will engage in various fundraising activities and events to raise vital funds and support the charity’s initiatives.
