Tughans recognised for commitment to diversity and inclusion
Northern Ireland commercial law firm Tughans has achieved bronze accreditation from Diversity Mark, underlining the firm’s commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
The accreditation is a mark of progress which formally acknowledges the work that has taken place within the firm over a number of years to promote diversity and inclusion.
The firm said achieving the bronze award is “another step in the journey” and will ensure that it continues to set and deliver against viable and achievable goals.
Kathy McGillie, partner lead on the firm’s D&I strategy, said: “We are proud of the work that has been done to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace that attracts, nurtures and supports our talented teams.
“We are delighted therefore to have been recognized by Diversity Mark and are looking forward to building on our achievement.”
Helen Claney, director of HR at Tughans, added: “The business case for diversity and inclusion is clear but, most importantly, we recognise that creating an environment where everyone feels valued and respected is critical to the wellbeing of all our colleagues and believe this is central to making Tughan’s a great place to work.”
