Tughans’ turnover nears £13m
Northern Ireland commercial law firm Tughans recorded turnover of nearly £13 million in 2023/24, according to its latest accounts.
Documents filed with Companies House show the firm’s turnover was £12.78 million in the financial year ending 31 March 2024, a two per cent increase on the previous year.
Operating profit was £3.84 million, an 18 per cent decrease on the previous year.
After finance costs, profit for the financial year available for discretionary division among members was £3.55 million.
The firm said it was “pleased to report solid financial performance for the financial year, with significant investment in our premises and infrastructure to secure and future-proof the business for both clients and colleagues”.
It noted that the firm’s relocation to The Ewart at the start of the financial year “promoted and supported significant positive momentum throughout the year”.
“Looking ahead, the pipeline of work remains strong and with the significant investments made this year, the members are hugely positive about the year ahead and the position of the firm to support the current and future needs of clients and colleagues,” the firm concluded.
