Two LK Shields solicitors to volunteer in Haiti
Two associate solicitors at LK Shields will travel to Haiti next month to participate in the Haiti Build Week.
Kate Kenneally and Sarah Browne are working to raise €4,500 to support schools in the Caribbean country ahead of their trip on Friday 15 April 2016.
They have organised charity events including a St Patrick’s Day fundraiser in the firm’s Dublin office, an art auction, and a comedy night in the Laughter Lounge, Eden Quay.
As part of its partnership with Haven, an NGO building sustainable communities in Haiti, LK Shields will cover the cost of their trip.
The pair wrote on their everydayhero fundraising page: “Our firm, LK Shields Solicitors, have kindly agreed to cover the cost of the trip and so, all of our fundraising proceeds will go directly to Haven and to the good work that it is doing in Haiti.
“We would be delighted if you could help us - no donation too big or small!”
