The final was judged by Mr Justice John MacMenamin of the Supreme Court, Ms Justice Carmel Stewart of the High Court and A&L Goodbody partner Tom Casey.
The DCU team of Ciara Ramsbottom, Conall Maher and Caoimhe McMahon were the runners-up.
UCD’s Gethings was recognised as the best speaker, while DCU’s Mairead Maguire, Aisling Durey and Andrew Finlay were recognised for the best written submissions.
