Ukrainian law students appeal for financial assistance

Ukrainian law students are appealing for financial assistance to participate in this year’s Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
Two student teams — from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University — will represent Ukraine at the 66th edition of the competition, which will take place in Washington, D.C., in March-April 2025.
The Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) has called for help to cover the estimated $45,500 cost of the trip for both teams, including visas, travel, accommodation, expenses and insurance.
The association is accepting company donations to the NGO representing the competitors in Ukraine, personal donations via Monobank or PayPal, and direct payment for a certain category of expenses.
The teams are also open to considering other forms of financial support.
More information can be found on the UBA website or by contacting jessup.ua@gmail.com.
