UKSC: Valedictory ceremony for Lord Neuberger and Lord Clarke this month

A valedictory ceremony marking the retirements of Lord Neuberger, President of the Supreme Court, and Lord Clarke, Justice of the Supreme Court, will take place on Friday 28 July at 9.15am in Court One.

The ceremony will consist of remarks from the President and Deputy President of the Court and other members of the legal profession, and will last around 45 minutes.

Most of the seats will be taken by friends and family of the two justices, but members of wider legal profession and the public are welcome to attend on a first come first served basis.

The two justices will be issuing some personal invitations and only these guests will have seats reserved. Out of fairness to all, no other reservations will be possible.

The ceremony will be live streamed on the UKSC website, then available ‘on demand’ from its YouTube channel the following week.
