Views sought from people who sat FE-1s during undergrad

Dr John Lombard
Law students and graduates have been invited to contribute to research on changes to the Law Society of Ireland entrance exams process.
Dr John Lombard, associate professor in law at University of Limerick School of Law, is researching the impact of The Solicitors Acts 1954 to 2011 (Apprenticeship and Education) (Amendment) Regulations 2019.
Under the regulations, students who had completed the first year of a level 7 or higher qualification, or a degree from a UK university, were permitted for the first time to sit the FE-1 exams.
Dr Lombard has invited current students and graduates who sat an FE-1 exam while completing an undergraduate programme to complete a short questionnaire about their experience.
The survey, which can be found by clicking here, will remain open for responses until 10 March 2025, 5pm.
Dr Lombard can be contacted directly on John.Lombard@ul.ie.
