Queen’s University Belfast School of Law has uploaded a video of a lecture on gender-based violence delivered by Professor Fionnuala Ní Aoláin.
Professor Ní Aoláin, the UN special rapporteur on counter-terrorism and human rights, delivered the Stephen Livingstone Lecture 2018 with the title “On Being the Subject of Law: Feminist Reflections on Gender, Harm and Violence in Northern Ireland”.
The lecture pays tribute to its namesake Stephen Livingstone’s commitment to equality, women’s rights, the rule of law, social change and human rights.
