William Fry celebrates international recognition

William Fry has been named International Firm of the Year by Legal Business, a monthly magazine for the global legal market.

The firm is the first Irish law firm to have ever won the award, which was bestowed upon the firm at an awards ceremony in London.

It was presented in recognition of William Fry’s strong management, dynamic work environment, and growth in key areas such as financial services, corporate / M&A and technology.

Shortly after the Legal Business ceremony, William Fry joined a number of European law firms on stage at the IFLR Europe Awards 2018 to accept the award for Equity Deal of the Year for Allied Irish Bank’s IPO. William Fry advised the Minister for Finance on the IPO, which was the largest IPO in Europe and the second largest globally in 2017.
