William Fry retains all trainees to newly-qualified solicitors
William Fry has reported a 100 per cent retention rate of trainees to newly-qualified solicitors.
Susan Wyer, trainee and intern programme manager at William Fry, spoke about the firm’s record in a profile for The Irish Times.
She said: “We see the internship programme as the first step on the road to becoming a solicitor in William Fry. We are also proud to report a 100 per cent retention rate of trainees to newly-qualified solicitor.”
She also credited the perfect retention rate to the firm’s decision tog ive trainees input into which of the four rotations they will do.
Ms Wyer explained: “This ensures trainees are actively involved in their own career development and which area of practice they will qualify into, with the added bonus of an option to request a rotation in one of our international offices.”
She said the company also offers a clear path for career progression for newly-qualified solicitors.
