Worthingtons Solicitors has announced the appointment of two solicitors on completion of their apprenticeships.

Katie Buchanan and Emily Paisley will join the Belfast team after qualifying as solicitors in September 2016.

Ms Buchanan will join the Employment Department, assisting with employment disputes including unfair dismissal, redundancy and discrimination claims before the Industrial Tribunal and the Fair Employment Tribunal.

Ms Paisley will join the Litigation Department, assisting Ciaran McConnell and Brian Moss with commercial litigation, judicial review, education law and debt recovery matters.

She told Irish Legal News: “I’m delighted to have been offered a solicitor position at Worthingtons. I have enjoyed my apprenticeship, and look forward to commencing my professional career in Commercial Litigation & Education Law in September.”
