Advocate-General Gerard Hogan to address online immigration lawyers’ conference
Advocate-General Gerard Hogan is set to address the Immigration, Asylum and Citizenship Bar Association’s (IACBA) annual conference later this month.
The senior European judge joins a range of expert speakers at the event on Friday 27 November 2020, which is taking place online due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Other speakers include Professor Cathryn Costello of the University of Oxford, Professor Steven Peers of the University of Essex, Jonathan Tomkin of the European Commission, Sara Moorhead SC, Michael Lynn SC, Professor Suzanne Kingston SC of UCD and Dr Aoife McMahon BL.
The IACBA, established last year with support from The Bar of Ireland, brings together barristers practising in this specialised area of law, which also incorporates diverse interests of family, employment, human rights, constitutional and EU law.
More information about the event is available from the IACBA website.
