McCann FitzGerald lawyer Áine Murphy has been appointed as co-chair of IWIRC Ireland, the networking organisation for women in the insolvency and restructuring industry.
Founded in 2021, IWIRC Ireland is open to legal advisers, financial advisers, banking officials, investors, turnaround managers and women in other related disciplines.

Co-founder Frances Flynn, a lawyer with Arthur Cox, remains on the six-person board as immediate past co-chair.
“The board are extremely excited to continue to build and grow the IWIRC Ireland network in the coming years,” IWIRC Ireland wrote on LinkedIn.
