A&L Goodbody appoints five new partners
A&L Goodbody has appointed five new partners — four in Dublin and one in Belfast.
The new Dublin partners are Clare Carroll and Stephen King in the technology team, Denise Daly Byrne in the disputes and investigations team, and Siobhan Kearney in the construction and engineering team.
Catherine Irvine has joined the Belfast office as a partner in the corporate and M&A team.
All of the new partners have been appointed with effect from 1 January 2025 with the exception of Ms Carroll, who recently joined from another Dublin-based law firm.
Managing partner David Widger said: “First of all, I’d like to congratulate Denise, Siobhan, Stephen and Catherine on their appointments and to welcome them to the partnership.
“They are all leading lights in their practice areas and have clearly demonstrated that they have the expertise, experience and leadership skills to thrive as partners in the firm.
“I would also like to welcome Clare to ALG. She joins our market-leading technology group and brings with her a depth of experience and knowledge that will add to our dynamic and growing team. We are very active in tech regulation and the strength of our team is a real differentiator for us.”
