And finally... bag for life

A Florida woman has been arrested for the second time this month, just 10 days after being released on bond for her earlier charges.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office reported that Teryn Acri was initially arrested on 6 January during a routine traffic stop for several drug-related offences. She posted bond two days later but was arrested again.

During her second arrest she was found carrying a bag labelled “Definitely Not a Bag Full of Drugs.”

“The bag was filled with snacks…nah, just kidding. It was actually drugs,” wrote Sheriff Wayne Ivey in a social media post. Items recovered included methamphetamine, needles, Narcan, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia.

“Since Acri apparently forgot what happened to her just the other week, she’s now enjoying another ‘staycation’ at Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge,” Ivey added, emphasising the county’s zero-tolerance policy on crime, particularly drug offences.
