Zachary Burdick, 21, is said to have disgraced himself in the Spirit of Life Church in Mandan, North Dakota during Mass on a Tuesday morning.

Witnesses said he pulled off his clothes, began masturbating and then started to “splash around” in a holy water fountain.

The church now faces a $500 bill to drain, clean and sanitise the foundation, KFYR-TV reports.

Meanwhile, Burdick has been charged with criminal mischief, indecent exposure and ingestion of a controlled substance.
