Body cam footage released by police in Port St. Lucie, Florida shows the short conversation which followed the police pulling over the car, which was well over the 45mph speed limit.

The bride, sitting in the passenger seat in her wedding dress, explains that she and her driver are almost 15 minutes late for her own wedding, WSVN reports.

“You’re already late,” the officer helpfully points out before letting them on their way.

But despite letting them leave, the driver now has a mandatory court appearance for speeding.
