The alarm was raised after someone in the courthouse said she could see “something crawling on his neck”.

Incredulous eye-witnesses said the lawyer seemed unbothered about the bugs, which sparked a full evacuation of the Rogers County Courthouse in the US state of Oklahoma.

Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton told KJRH News: “Hard to imagine someone doesn’t know, you know, that some bed bugs are crawling all over them certainly in abundance.”

He added: “I don’t even think he cared.”
