And finally… kicking off
UEFA has launched an investigation after “sex noises” disrupted the draw of groups for the Euro 2024 championship and were broadcast internationally.
“Unexplained moaning noises” could be heard as members of Group A — of Germany, Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland — were drawn in Hamburg, Euronews reports.
The noises then continued sporadically until the draw was completed.
English prankster Daniel Jarvis, known for his YouTube videos, claimed responsibility for the disruption in a video published over the weekend.
He said: “Listen that was us, that was us. We got it in there, we put the phone in there, we rung it, sex noise at the Euro 2024 draw.”
The incident is being treated as a security breach by UEFA.
