And finally… pepperoni passion

A couple outraged public decency after they were caught having sex in a branch of Domino’s Pizza.

Daniella Hirst, 29, and Craig Smith, 31, were recorded on CCTV in the pizza takeaway earlier this year performing various sex acts after placing their order.

Hirst pleaded guilty to outraging public decency while Smith was found guilty in absentia.

Angela Beardshall, chair of the bench at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court, said a custodial sentence could not be ruled out.

The court was shown 18 minutes’ footage from the shop’s camera in which the pair had sex on the counter.

Ms Beardshall said: “This offence was in a public place. It was a lengthy incident.

“Members of the public were present as were staff.

“The shop was on a public thoroughfare and members of the public should not have to put up with this disgusting behaviour.”

Hirst’s solicitor, Scott McLoughlin, told the court the pair had been drinking and that the sex acts were not “brazen”.
