Cops were called after a neighbour heard “screaming from a house about someone having a gun”, only to find the property’s residents watching The Walking Dead at full volume with the windows open.

Great Falls Police Department Sgt. Brian McGraw said “a whole bunch of guys” had surrounded the home before realising the misunderstanding, the Great Falls Tribune reports.

When the seven officers approached the building, they saw two adults and “several children” watching the violent zombie drama.
