The BBC is going to court in a bid to force Microsoft help track down the source of a Doctor Who leak.
A 53-second clip of Jodie Whittaker as the series’ iconic lead character, The Doctor, was leaked online in June.
The footage was hosted on Microsoft OneDrive and the British broadcaster is now demanding Microsoft hand over details about the account holder.
According to documents lodged in a court in the US state of Washington, the BBC is asking the court to subpoena Microsoft under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
