Arthur Cox opens applications for Northern Ireland trainees

Arthur Cox has opened applications for its growing trainee programme in Northern Ireland.

Trainees with the firm will have the opportunity to gain experience across varied practice areas including corporate and commercial, finance, dispute resolution, employment, energy and renewables, competition, intellectual property, IT and commercial property.

Lynsey Mallon, head of corporate and commercial at Arthur Cox, said: “We are pleased to once again be opening our trainee programme to forward-thinking and ambitious individuals who are passionate about a career at leading law firm.

“Our trainee programme aims to inspire the next generation of legal professionals by ensuring that the talents, skills and interests of each trainee remain paramount throughout their time at Arthur Cox.

“We continually invest in our trainees, dedicating significant time and resources to providing them with unrivalled knowledge and experience that will go a long way towards assisting them in their pursuit of a successful career in corporate law.

“As a result, many of our current partner group actually began their career in the firm as trainees, so we look forward to welcoming the next generation.”

Arthur Cox is hosting an open evening for potential applicants at its Belfast office on 19 October while a number of team members will be attending various career fairs including the Queen’s University Belfast autumn careers fair on 18 October.
