NI: Attorney General to give evidence on coronavirus laws
Attorney General John Larkin QC will appear before MLAs tomorrow to provide evidence on legal issues relating to the emergency coronavirus laws.
Mr Larkin will appear for over an hour and a half as a witness before the Stormont justice committee, which is meeting tomorrow at 11am in the Senate Chamber.
The meeting, which will be streamed live, will also consider a number of written papers on issues including proposed legislation on domestic abuse and criminal injuries compensation, as well as the legal aid scheme.
Justice Minister Naomi Long appeared before the committee two weeks ago to brief members on COVID-19 and justice-related issues.
