NI: Belfast law graduate joins P.A. Duffy & Co after return from New York
A Belfast law graduate has joined P.A. Duffy & Co Solicitors as a legal executive after returning home from working and studying in New York.
Danielle Garrity spent the last year studying for the New York Bar Exam before moving back to Belfast, where she intends to take the entrance exam for the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (IPLS) in December.
A graduate of Queen’s University Belfast in 2018 and Trinity College Dublin in 2019, she intends to go on to practice as a solicitor in the jurisdictions of Northern Ireland and Ireland.
She previously spent four months working for the New York City Counsel Office of Attorneys, where she dealt primarily with litigation cases arising in various New York City Districts, before completing the New York Bar Exam in 2020.
Ms Garrity will practice primarily in the areas of personal injury and medical negligence litigation at P.A. Duffy & Co.
