Blinne Ní Gralaigh KC to speak in Derry
Human rights lawyer Blinne Ní Gralaigh KC is to deliver the Bloody Sunday Trust’s annual lecture in Derry next week.
Ms Ní Gralaigh, who previously worked as a legal observer on the Bloody Sunday Inquiry, shot to global prominence earlier this year when she appeared before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for South Africa in its genocide case against Israel.
The London-based barrister, previously featured in Irish Legal News as our Lawyer of the Month in February 2022, will appear with the Belfast Telegraph’s Allison Morris at the event on Friday 14 June, 7pm.
The free event at Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin, 37 Great James Street, Derry is expected to be popular and attendees have been advised to “arrive early to avoid disappointment”.
