Cantillons Solicitors launches mediation service

Cantillons Solicitors in Cork has announced the launch of a mediation service with the accreditation of one of its partners.

Jody Cantillon, a partner and member of the firm’s litigation team, has been accredited by the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (MII).

The firm announced the launch of the new service on its Twitter account yesterday.

Speaking to Irish Legal News, Mr Cantillon said: “I am delighted that we at Cantillons can now offer a mediation service to our clients. There has been a lot in the news lately about Mediation, particularly with the Mediation Act 2017 coming into play.

“We believe that mediation, in certain instances, can lead to a cheaper and faster resolution to our clients problems.”
