Carson McDowell appoints Richard Dickson as real estate partner
Belfast-based Carson McDowell has announced the appointment of Richard Dickson as a partner in the firm’s real estate team.
Mr Dickson has over 21 years’ experience of dealing with all aspects of property law transactions. He joined Carson McDowell in September, having previously been a partner of a long-established Belfast firm.
He acts for a wide range of clients in relation to property acquisition, disposal, landlord and tenant, as well as commercial, residential and mixed-use property development and he regularly advises retail tenants and commercial property landlords and has overseen key residential, commercial and mixed-use property developments in recent years, from site acquisition to disposal.
Mr Dickson’s appointment makes Carson McDowell’s real estate team, headed by partner Dawson McConkey, the largest in Northern Ireland.
Meanwhile, the firm has also appointed Amanda Sistern as director of marketing and business development.
Ms Sistern has a strong track record of marketing in the financial services and legal sector, joining Carson McDowell from another established Belfast law firm, where she was head of marketing.
Senior partner Neasa Quigley said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard and Amanda to our team. They both have exceptional track records in their respective fields, and we believe they will be valuable additions to our growing business and will further enhance the excellent services we provide to our clients.”
Carson McDowell employs 117 solicitors across its Belfast and Dublin offices and has a total headcount of over 180 people.
