Clare Daly appointed to CyberSafeKids board
Cork solicitor Clare Daly has been appointed to the board of directors of online safety charity CyberSafeKids.
Ms Daly is a solicitor in Comyn Kelleher Tobin LLP and brings over 16 years of broad and varied experience in legal practice, specialising in child protection and data protection with a particular focus on the data rights of children, as well as litigation, personal injuries, mental health law, education law and family law.
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Daly said: “Online safety is an integral part of child protection in today’s digital world. I am honoured to join the board of CyberSafeKids, particularly during the dawning of the new Online Safety and Media Regulation Act in Ireland.
“Children make up one-third of all internet users globally and the incredible work of CyberSafeKids in advocating for, and educating towards, a safer online world for children, is vital. I am excited to contribute to this extremely important work.”
