Clark Hill welcomes John Hensien as CEO

Clark Hill, the US law firm which opened its first European office in Dublin just under two years ago, has announced that John Hensien has taken up the role of CEO.
Mr Hensien has been transitioning into the CEO leadership role for a year and has now taken it up, supported by former CEO John Hern along with Jeffrey Conn, who will both serve as co-chairs of the firm.
Clark Hill expanded into Ireland in February 2019 through a merger with Dublin-based O’Gradys Solicitors, providing Irish clients with access to US legal services and vice versa.
Mr Hensien said: “I am excited to be leading Clark Hill into 2021 and beyond and grateful for having been entrusted with the firm’s future.
“Three months into my transition to leadership, we plunged into a global pandemic followed by social and political unrest. I am proud of the indelible character of everyone at Clark Hill which brought us through those difficult times.
“I enter my leadership in 2021 with a sense of optimism and look forward to serving the firm and our clients.”
