Colm Rafferty and Karen Killalea appointed to Maples management team
Dublin partners Colm Rafferty and Karen Killalea have been appointed to the Maples Group’s Irish management team.
Mr Rafferty joined Maples in 2007, five years after joining the roll of solicitors, and now co-heads the corporate team in Dublin.
A relatively recent hire, Ms Killalea joined Maples as partner and head of employment earlier this year after six years as an employment partner at A&L Goodbody.
Nicholas Butcher has been reappointed local office managing partner for Dublin for a second term.
The leadership appointments were announced alongside that of Cayman Islands partner Jonathan Green as the firm’s new global managing partner, succeeding Alasdair Robertson.
Mr Green said: “Alasdair has done an outstanding job as our Global Managing Partner and I am both honoured and excited to take over the position.
“The Maples Group is a fantastic organisation with ambitious plans for the future and I look forward to continuing to work with our leadership teams and our exceptional employees to achieve our goals and provide our clients with the highest quality global service that enables them to accelerate and grow.”
