Advertorial: Composite Legal Expenses Launch After the Event Insurance (ATE) Products for Ireland & Northern Ireland

Composite Legal Expenses (CLE), the wholly owned subsidiary of AmTrust Europe Limited, is delighted to consider new applications for After the Event Insurance (ATE) in Ireland & Northern Ireland.

James Jobling, Legal Expenses Development Manager for CLE and AmTrust Law said:

“We are delighted to be launching our ATE product range into Ireland & Northern Ireland. ATE Insurance is a legal expenses insurance policy which indemnifies a Plaintiff against their exposure to the Opponents legal costs in the event that their case is lost. Whilst we do not provide indemnity for own legal fees, we can consider providing indemnity for Own Disbursements such as Counsel’s fees.”

Typically, the insured is a Plaintiff and their claim is damages based. To submit an application for insurance you need only to complete the CLE proposal form and submit it with a case summary and key documents. CLE are looking for cases which are proposed at an appropriate stage in the litigation and enjoy strong prospects of success and recovery (60%+).

ATE Insurance can level the litigation playing field in David & Goliath type cases, expand a Finance or Legal Director litigation budget or enable an Insolvency Practitioner to advance a claim on behalf of creditors.

CLE can offer a variety of premium structures. In cases where damages are proportionate to the litigation costs, we are able to offer terms on a Contingent on Success premium structure. Therefore, the premium is only payable in the event of a successful outcome.

AmTrust Europe Limited is rated “A” Excellent by A.M Best and through our wholly owned subsidiary, Composite Legal Expenses (CLE), we are able to perform the insurance mediation for Law Firms and their clients.

We look forward to meeting with the Law Firms and their clients.
