Comyn Kelleher Tobin announces acquisition of specialist Dublin firm

Dublin firm Comyn Kelleher Tobin (CKT) has announced its acquisition of litigation practice Jim Eustace and Company.

The merger is part of CKT’s strategy for growth in Dublin, which includes relocation from Ormond Quay to a new office in Smithfield. The firm now employs over 60 people between Dublin and Cork.

Deborah Moore, managing partner at CKT, said the acquisition and relocation mark a “new chapter” in the firm’s history.

Ms Moore added: “Through such planned and strategic investment in the growing Dublin market, we are meeting increasing client demand for our services, particularly in defence litigation. This strengthens our team in the areas of health, child welfare and litigation, and ensures that our clients receive the best possible advice.”

CKT, founded in 1981, practices in the area of commercial, construction, corporate, data protection & GDPR, education, employment, maritime, professional indemnity, property and public law.

It works with a number of large public sector organisations, advising clients such as the Health Service Executive (HSE), the Child and Family Agency (Tusla), and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).
