Under the terms of the merger, MJS Legal will rebrand as CDS Law & Tax and function as a satellite office of the company.

MJS Legal principal Mike Stack will continue to serve his client base as a member of an expanded team led by Jennifer Downing, senior associate and head of property with CDS Law & Tax.

Mr Stack and Ms Downing will also be joined by GAA star and Charted Tax Advisor Tommy Walsh, for whom the move establishes a home town business base.

CDS Law & Tax principal Ciaran Desmond said: “Our commercial presence in Kerry has been steadily expanding over the past number of years, driven by the presence of Jennifer and Tommy on the CDS team and their expertise in commercial property law and tax consultancy respectively.

“I’ve also long been aware of Michael Stack by name and reputation and when the opportunity arose for us to combine our resources in a meaningful way there was no hesitation on our part.”
