- A&L Goodbody advises Pilgrim’s on proposed $952m acquisition of Kerry’s division
A&L Goodbody is advising US-headquartered multinational Pilgrim’s Pride on its proposed $952 million (roughly €800m) acquisition of Kerry’s meats and meals business in Ireland and the UK.
The ALG team was led by corporate and M&A partners Ronan Lyons and Richard Marron and included a broad team of ALG specialists from across the firm.

- Matheson advises Kastus on Series A equity fundraising
Matheson has advised Irish multinational tech company Kastus on its successful Series A equity fundraising.
The investment was led by Alpha Ascent Ventures with continued participation from Atlantic Bridge, Carragh Holdings and Enterprise Ireland.
The Matheson team was led by corporate partner Patrick Spicer, corporate senior associate Rob Barrett and corporate solicitor Joanna Crowley.

- William Fry advised August Equity on investment into Integrity360
William Fry has advised August Equity LLP on its significant investment into Dublin-based security specialist Integrity360.
Integrity360, which operates in Ireland and the UK, provides a comprehensive suite of professional, support and managed cyber security services that identify and assess, protect and prevent, detect and analyse and respond and recover cyber risks and threats.
William Fry acted as Irish counsel and Travers Smith acted as UK counsel on the cross-border transaction.

- Eugene F Collins advises Murdock Builders Merchants on Brooks Group acquisition
Eugene F Collins has advised Murdock Builders Merchants on its proposed acquisition of Brooks Timber & Building Supplies Ltd Group from Premier Forest Groups.
Deborah Kelly, partner and head of corporate, led the EFC team advising on the transaction, which will return Brooks to Irish ownership after a 40-year interval.
She was supported by corporate associate Lorna Osborne, head of property and construction Kathi Ó Riain, property and construction associate Frances Colclough, head of banking Libby Garvey and banking associate Erc Walsh.
The acquisition is subject to the approval of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
- Beauchamps advises Stoneweg on acquisition of former HP campus
Beauchamps LLP has advised Swiss-based property investor Stoneweg SA on its acquisition of the former Hewlett Packard (HP) campus in Leixlip, Co Kildare.
The Beauchamps team was led by partner and head of real estate Aidan Marsh, with support from associate Sian Browne.
The law firm’s engagement with Stoneweg spanned all aspects of the acquisition and included, in particular, advising on banking and finance, led by partner Niall O’Brien, and energy and construction, led by Stuart Conaty.
The firm worked with Bradley Tax Consulting (led by Marie Bradley) and Davy on the transaction.
