Arthur Cox advises TransferMate on $70m funding round
Arthur Cox has advised TransferMate, a global provider of B2B payments infrastructure as-a-service, on its $70 million funding round, bringing the company to a valuation of $1 billion and $130 million of total funding to date.
TransferMate has grown its global licensing infrastructure and banking network to be one of the widest in the industry and has been chosen as the partner of choice to power B2B payments products for some of the largest software platforms, innovative banks and Fintechs in the world.
This funding round, which consists entirely of primary capital, will be used to expand its teams globally and further invest in its technology innovation and product suite.
The Arthur Cox team was led by Michael Coyle and Ryan Ferry and included Tim Gleeson and Susan O’Leary in the corporate and M&A team and Rob Cain and Sarah Thompson in the financial regulatory team.
McCann FitzGerald advises Mooze Vegan Company on €50k funding round
McCann FitzGerald LLP has advised Mooze Vegan Company Limited, an Irish vegan protein beverages company, in relation to a €50,000 funding round by Enterprise Ireland from its Competitive Start Fund.
This funding will enable Mooze to supply retail stores across the nation with its vegan protein beverage.
The McCann FitzGerald team was led by partner Rory O’Malley and associate Suvi Ronan.
Lavelle Partners advises DEUTZ on acquisition of South Coast Diesels
Lavelle Partners LLP recently advised DEUTZ AG, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of innovative drive systems for off-highway applications, on its acquisition of Naas-based Kirkwell Limited t/a South Coast Diesels.
Founded in 1986, South Coast Diesels is an independent engine rebuilding and after sales support company employing 20 people in Naas. It is the official service dealer for DEUTZ, Detroit Diesel, Kubota Engines and Perkins product ranges.
The Lavelle team working on the transaction was led by corporate partner Gríana O’Kelly with corporate solicitor Katie Oakes, supported by Úna O’Connor in the property team and Marc Fitzgibbon in the employment team.
LK Shields advises shareholders of Design Partners on sale to PA Consulting
LK Shields Solicitors has acted for the shareholders of Design Partners Limited in the sale of the Irish company to global consultancy firm PA Consulting.
Design Partners, located in Bray County Wicklow, has been operating since 1984 and is a leading product design and innovation agency.
PA Consulting operates in 22 locations worldwide and offers end to end innovation to clients across 9 different industries.
